How is Amber Heard going to pay Johnny Depp $10 million?
After seven weeks of testimony in the highly divisive Virginia civil trial between actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, jurors ruled on Wednesday that Heard defamed Depp
after identifying herself as a domestic abuse survivor in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed, ordering her to pay him over $10 million in damages.
One snag: Heard and many witnesses on the stand suggested that the Aquaman actress might not have the cash to pay her ex-husband right away.
Despite the fact that the trial was based on terrible allegations of multiple incidents of abuse, both actors took the stand to address how the trial affected their successful acting careers
When asked why she couldn't fulfil a $7 million promise to the ACLU following her 2017 divorce from Depp
Heard said she couldn't because her ex-husband decided to bring a $50 million lawsuit against her.
