Meghan Markle pays a visit to the Texas school shooting memorial and leaves white roses.

On Thursday, Duchess Meghan of Sussex paid a visit to Uvalde, Texas, to pay respect to the 21 people who died in a devastating school shooting on Tuesday.

Meghan made the trip because she wanted to express her condolences and support to the Texas community during this difficult time, according to the spokesman.

Meghan and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, have two children: three-year-old Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and 11-month-old Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.

Meghan was photographed looking solemnly at a mournful line of headstones outside of Uvalde County Court on Thursday.

The 40-year-old was also seen putting a bouquet of white roses at the base of one of the memorial headstones in another snap.
