Who can blame Albuquerque, New Mexico for its passion of hot air balloons? Their International Balloon Fiesta appears to be a fantastic event!

William Keating went onto a hot air balloon in Barrington Hills, Illinois, on August 15, 1981, planning to enjoy the ride as a late birthday present (via UPI).

Albuquerque, New Mexico, is certainly proud of its long history of hot air balloon excursions, with the International Balloon Fiesta celebrating its 50th anniversary in October 2022.
