Jeff Gladney, a cornerback with the Arizona Cardinals, died at the age of 25.

According to the Arizona Cardinals' official website, Jeff Gladney, a cornerback, died in an automobile accident in Dallas on Monday morning.

According to CNN affiliate WFAA, Gladney, 25, was one of two people killed in the collision. Gladney's representative has been contacted by CNN for comment.

According to a news release from the Dallas County Sheriff's Department, the incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. and involved two automobiles.

 According to preliminary findings, a white vehicle was speeding and collided with a second vehicle from behind.

According to the announcement, the white vehicle subsequently lost control and collided with a motorway pier beam, killing the man and lady inside. A man was also inside the second vehicle.

Gladney, who had played college football at Texas Christian University, was in his third season in the NFL.
