Lil Keed, a 24-year-old rapper, has died.
According to Complex, Atlanta artist Lil Keed died on May 13 at the age of 24. At this time, the cause of death remains unknown.
Lil Gotit, the rapper's younger brother, was the first to disclose his death online, posting an emotional Instagram tribute in the early hours of Saturday morning.
He captioned a photo of him and Lil Keed with, "Can't believe I saw u die today buddy I did all my cries."
"I understand what you want me to accomplish, which is to work hard for Mama Daddy. #ImaHoldthisS—tDown, our Brothers Naychur and Whiteboy."
Lil Keed was born Raqhid Render and joined to Young Thug's YSL Records. He rose to notoriety in Atlanta rap with records including "Oh My God" and "Nameless.
Quana Bandz, Lil Keed's partner, expressed her grief on Instagram and appeared to reveal that she is expecting the couple's second child.
