Salmonella has caused another another recall of peanut butter.

Jif issued a large peanut butter recall on May 20 owing to salmonella contamination.

There were 49 goods in the original recall. Although the amount of peanut butter recalled is unknown, Jif has yet to react to Thrillist's request for comment.

The Food and Drug Administration issued five fresh recalls on May 23 and 24, all of which are tied to Jif.

Country Fresh has issued a recall for fresh-cut fruit snack trays and fruit snack cups that contain Jif peanut butter in 19 states.

Because salmonella can spread from one surface to another, eating the fruit or peanut butter in the containers is not recommended.

Country Fresh claims that its goods are unrelated to the salmonella outbreaks. The FDA has a list of products that have been recalled.
