Tornadoes may have destroyed half of the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
According to a county official, severe thunderstorms and a potential tornado devastated at least half of Forada, Minnesota, a city 70 miles southeast of St. Cloud, on Monday.
A possible tornado came down near the city in western Minnesota, bringing torrential rain and wind gusts of up to 80 miles per hour.
There have been no reports of injuries or deaths, according to city officials.
It swept across Douglas County, Minnesota, destroying homes and buildings, with Forada taking a direct strike.
In this 160-person city, Vanluik thinks that up to 100 structures and residences were demolished.
Before they could go door to door and check on residents, first responders had to clear debris from the town's highways.
