Your Burger Patties are Missing a Key Ingredient

Mushrooms are not only excellent for you, providing nutritional fiber and other essential elements, but they also improve the flavor and texture of your burgers!

Regular patties tend to dry up quickly, but the fluids from the mushrooms will help keep the meat wet while infusing it with deep, earthy tastes.

The first step is to decide which mushrooms you want to use. Most mushrooms will work, but white button mushrooms are our favorite.

Finely dice the mushrooms and combine with Worcestershire sauce and seasonings of your choosing.

Finally, form them into burger patties with your hands. Brush the patties with oil before placing them on the grill to cook over high heat (about 450 degrees Fahrenheit).

Allow the patties to cook for 5-7 minutes on each side after flipping. To serve, place each burger on a bun and top with lettuce, tomato, and your favorite condiments.
